An inspiring ride from Aberystwyth on the Welsh coast, across the stunning landscape of the Cambrian Mountains, through the Elan Valley and down to the Severn meadows of Shrewsbury. If the whole route seems too much, why not try the section from Welshpool to Shrewsbury?
Gardens, Castles & Mountains
Cycling from Welshpool to Shrewsbury the impressive National Trust gardens of Powis Castle are a real treat and the spectacular views from the top of Long Mountain are inspiring. A challenging ride but undoubtedly worth the effort, with plenty of pubs along the way to relax in.
