Online Mapping of All Shropshire's Cycle Routes

You can now look at Shropshire's entire cycle route network online using the new interactive map generated by Shropshire Council. Brand NEW National Cycle Network leaflet Route 44 is now available

A new cycling leaflet is now available; the Six Castles Cycleway leaflet covers the challenging 58 mile route along National Cycle Network route 44 from Shrewsbury to Leominster via Bishops Castle, Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Sustrans Connect2 Initatives

Brand new National Cycle Network leaflets - available now for free!

Shropshire County Council has produced 8 new cycle leaflets covering National Cycle Network Routes 31, 45, 75 and 81. Pick them up for free from Visitor Information Centres, order them direct from Shropshire County Council by calling 01743 25 3008 or download them here:

New market town cycle leaflets

Following the huge success of the Market Drayton and Wem cycle ride leaflets, Shropshire County Council can now offer a total of 8 market town leaflets. Additional leaflets for Bishop's Castle and Ludlow are in the pipeline and will be published in the near future. The leaflets contain maps and directions for exploring areas around Shropshire's market towns, and rides vary from under 10 miles to over 20 miles. Pick them up for free from Visitor Information Centres, order them direct from Shropshire County Council by calling 01743 253008 or download them here:

Lots of new places to park your bike

Shropshire County Council continues to provide secure cycle parking in public locations and has recently installed cycle parking at local libraries in the Bridgnorth area, at railway stations in South Shropshire and throughout the centre of Oswestry.
