Visiting Shropshire

Getting to and around Shropshire couldn't be easier, we are connected to the rest of the UK by the motorway network, are only 3 hours from London and only an hour or so from Manchester and Birmingham, both of which have international airports.

How would you like to spend your holiday? Cycling down the network of on and off road routes that we have in Shropshire. They criss-cross our hills, skirt our lakes and waterways, meander through our towns and countryside. Its the best way and quietest way to see our county. You don't even need to bring your bike! we have several places around the county to hire a bike when you get here.

After you have spent the day exploring our beautiful county you can sit back and relax in one of our hotels, Bed and Breakfast or Guest Houses. We can offer you cycling holidays designed exactly to meet your needs and ability or you can use our accommodation search to find exactly what you would like.

Once here, if you have found that you have forgotten a vital piece of equipment you can visit one of our many cycle shops. And if you need further information about the surrounding area our Visitor Information Centres and Points are scattered across the county. You can even give them a call before you come to get information to plan your visit.
